Description

Well this is for the "family" at Progulus.com, it is an Internet station for Progressive Rock/Metal music, and the miastro of the station ("Scout") and others who have been trying to find ways to Advertise for this great station. So i came up with 2 shirts, with this one -that would show off the different bands and that looked like a Concert shirt. But instead of having Dates and Venues it had an A to Z listing of the popular bands found on the station, so that a Fan could look at the Roster and say, "OH MY GOD! they have my FAVE band!", "Someone ELSE knows of this obscure band!" or "Wow! these guys play music I like!"
Unfortunatly, with help from a friend who we were in the printing biz, a long time ago-has researched, these T's will be VERY expensive to print, so they are JUST designs for now.
When the station went up (We were listeners of Progged Radio before they minimized- see progulus.com for whole story www.progulus.com/samPHPweb/now… ), they needed a LOGO, so i offered my services. Logo's are a BLAST for me, so it was easy to convey the Progressive Rock feel to it and im VERY influenced by the Master Logo artist Roger Dean ( www.rogerdean.com/ ), so i was overwhelmed when they gave it the thumbs up with 1 try!
The Main Progulus logo was hand drawn, scanned into photoshop, used embossing filters, but tweaked the heck out of them by hand/mouse, and of course coloured. The backround was found on the internet.
Im very proud of this logo and get to share it with this new family i've inherited, we're a tight bunch and look out for each other, so i hope to see the "2" shirts make its way across the globe one day soon . . . thank you Prog Pirates!

Recent note (2018): Around 2015, many of the bands listed on the shirt met a fatal end because of "Genre Politics" and popularity (or lack-of) by the station
manager, so if you go to the station and can't find certain bands that were beneficial to the progression of "Prog Metal", you'll know why. Though all of the
"Progressive Rock" bands are represented, old and new.
Unfortunately these shirts were never made, but I may make 1 or 2 for myself, remembering when PrOgulus used to have "everything" PrOg :meditation:.

Thanx Tiia!

And for being the 1st to comment on the
shirt, its still a fave of mine :D
And, it has a few of the Bands that USED TO
be on the station :(

Yeah, Progulus has a HUGE selection and
not enough room on a Shirt 100 times
over! (I still wish this was the Logo, I think
it represents the music perfectly).
