Strange Land Logo and Layout

A Process of Strange Lands.

Well. . .
This is my 1st official release of an Album Cover I have
worked on! WooooHooooo!!!!
This is for the just released album by Strange Land
called "Catharsis" [link]
A Very awesome Progressive Metal Trio out of
"Cheeseland" Wisconsin.
The Guitarist Sean Gill is a bit of an Artist himself, so we
worked via-internet together getting the Art down just
right.
He is another awesome friend I have made at the Prog
Internet Station Progulus.com. (YOU should go there
and check out more Albums from Strange Land! plus all
your faves and discover new ones ).

Step ONE:
From a penciled sketch to a Blackened version, this version
has a stylized "S". Tweaked and Special FX added.
Step TWO a:
The Mock-up Cover to use as our template, to see how the
Logo would look on the Layout.
Step TWO b:
Logo gets some refinements and changes from Sean and I
add some of the Glowing Strobed Special FX.
Step THREE:
I get actual image to be used, clean-up some details and
add the subtle "Band Icon" in the Sand.
Step FOUR:
Sean adds all the refinements, bringing out the Logo more,
and the Icon and . . . VOILA!!!
