ARW Logo II Anatomy

Description

Hello folks,
It's been quite a long time to upload stuff.

These are long overdue to put up . . .
When I heard Jon Anderson, Trevor Rabin and Rick Wakeman (of "Yes" fame) around late 2015 were going to record music
I immediately worked on some ideas for 3 different logos, with the Roger Deanish style. Unfortunately I heard about the
band a little too late in the game.
By the time I heard that they would be on tour (2016) before creating albums (and apparently, they are calling themselves
Yes now, even though there is another Yes, which once had the late great Chris Squire on Bass), I had come across an artist,
if it was here at deviant or Facebook, who also had a Deanish look to his environments (see the "album" versions with the
3 logos). I tried to find him, and it wasn't till a few months ago in 2017 that I found him here.

This time we have Logo II and the preliminary sketches leading up to the final. Its too bad they don't call themselves ARW
any longer or I'd see if they'd like to use any of these, oh well. Not sure what Roger Dean would feel about that though . . . ?
As per usual, sketched with a 0.7 Graphite Mechanical Pencil and final line drawing with a 0.5 Mechanical Pencil and
completely freehand because I'm nuts. Final version in photoshop tweaking various filters and painting with various size
brushes and pens . . . with a mouse (yikes!). The Anderson, Rabin, Wakeman lettering here was also done by hand with a
Chartpak AD Black Marker and tweaked in photoshop. This one is as if Dean went full Graffiti mode :).

Note: Sorry for the dirt anomalies, don't understand why they are so apparent here and not on photoshop, I'll try to clean
these logos up more when time allows.
